HDT won't work on DX Armors

When I'm naked HDT works just fine, when I equip some armor that was through BodySlide, HDT also works. The problem however is, if I download some armor, like the DX Armors with HDT, it just won't work. I also see that once I equip this kind of armor, my body's shape alters to a default shape, that cannot be changed through showracemenu (The UNP and variations' changes). (If I save the alterations and unequip the armor, then I'll see the changes). Is there some point that I'm missing? I'm kind of new to modding. (My skin won't alter in any case)

Looks like that particular armor mod does not contain Bodyslide files, which you need to be able to fit the armor to your character.

The HDT the creator was referring to was the HDT High Heels, that's why it doesn't work. Thanks for your reply anyway :)
