rolfey1328 Posted February 15, 2020 Share Posted February 15, 2020 So I decided to try do a (heavily modded) playthrough of oblivion for the first time in more than half a decade and Iâm actually really enjoying it. Iâm playing a thief/mage and itâs the most Iâve actually felt like an actual wizard. Mostly using illusion/alteration/mysticism Iâm able to outwit enemies, make them fight each other or avoid them altogether and get away with the loot. It made me realise that utility spells were for the large part missing in Skyrim - chameleon, spell absorption, command. Not to mention the heavily nerfed and almost useless illusion tree. So I was wondering if thereâs a mod out there that changes/adds to skyrimâs magic system to make it more similar to oblivionâs.It was gamey and full of exploits but i feel like thatâs always the case in complex rpgs, you have to restrain yourself and it can be quite fun. Let me know P.S. Iâm quite enjoying thievery for the first time so if anyone knows mods that add quests/lots more loot to cities in Skyrim Iâd appreciate it.
