TheCommanderOfThe101st
Okay, so i have added mods before with NMM but since DA:O doesn't use that you have to download them manually which i can't figure out how to install them cause the modder doesn't inform people how to install. So i wanted to add the Vigil suite mod but it only has two files Vigilsuite.sel and Vigilsuite.txt So could any one tell me out to install different files for this game. LemmingoftheGDA
Hey commander, It sounds like you understand mods and how they work. that particular "mod" is for builders, as in modders. It's really not an end user mod. It's like materials for a builder to build a house. See? Take care commander. http://social.bioware.com/wiki/datoolset/index.php/Community_Contest_5:_Room_Contest Brief Create an indoor room and export it as a SEL for other modders to paste into their levels. Lucjan87
Hi guys, sorry to write it in here but I can not find answer anywhere. And YES i checked Using Mods fo dummies :P I know how to use modes for override and DAModder but I have no ide what to do with this kind of files... for example : http://dragonage.nexusmods.com/mods/23 when unziped it has 2 files in the folder: Manifest (what the hell is that?) and Contents... DAModder is not instaling them and dropping the whole folder into override does nothing... How do I make them work ?! I spend last 2h trying to sort it out :/
Thandal
Mods that are packaged as a ".dazip" file should not be further unpackaged. They are added to the game AS-IS by using the built-in "DAUpdater.exe" program, or either of the managers, DAO-ModManager (DAMM) or DAModder (DAM). (This is addressed in the "Using DA Mods" article... :whistling: )
