LimeyRedneck Posted February 15, 2020 Posted February 15, 2020 Has anyone any insight into why I keep getting a Skyrim Creation Kit version error? I have a fully legal SSE and CK, and have reinstalled the CK via both Steam AND Bethesda Net. Dialog message is:"Incorrect CreationKit version detected. Version 1.5.3.0 from 2018-04-13 is required. Patches are disabled. Executable path: C:\steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Creationkit.exe" Has Bethesda been playing around with obscure and unannounced changes again?
Ghaunadaur Posted February 16, 2020 Posted February 16, 2020 Nah, you're probably using an old version of Creation Kit Fixes.
LimeyRedneck Posted February 16, 2020 Author Posted February 16, 2020 Yep - That was it - somehow it got mangled. Reinstalled the CK Fixes and now all is well. Thanks very much.
