SamaelMindbreaker
After having a look to the skooma overhaul mods, I decided to made my own mod because they were too fun-killers for me. I wanted to make skooma more desirable for thiefs and assassins, so I put some sneak, pickpocketing, lockpicking, etc, buffs on it. It worked good, I only had to nerf the self calculated price. I also wanted skooma to be addictive, but I didn't want to make an addiction that makes characters unplayable, I only wanted something uncomfortable, something that makes me want to buy/steal more (MOAR) Skooma, not to unninstall the mod. I finally put a slow effect poison damage over health (so slow, it's like 1000 points of damage during 84k seconds), health and stamina reduction, etc. I also added paralysis effect for six seconds. After making the addiction, Skyrim crashes when I try to load the mod. Any idea about fixing that? My english sux and I need to improve it, so any grammar nazi response will be gratefully welcome. Deleted1308005User
Does the game crash on startup? If so, you are having mod dependancy problem.Which means that you are using mod which requires another mod to run but you don't have it. Try BOSS and wrye, if doesn't work, try disabling your mod and test if it works then. "I finally put a slow effect poison damage over health (so slow, it's like 1000 points of damage during 84k seconds), health and stamina reduction, etc. I also added paralysis effect for six seconds."AFAIK, if you make it like that, consuming more and more skooma will eventually result in quick death? (sounds fun actually, but can become quite frustrating)

About the poison, it's not tested, but I made a dps damage because if I put direct damage, it result in a quick (and funny) death. Anyway, the long dps damage is added on the addiction, so (I wish) consuming Skooma would stop it. I'm working on a big project where Skooma is given to you as extra reward for thieve's guild quests (also for the dark brotherhood), Skooma dealers on not-safe-people-places, Skooma bottles in some places, etc. I'll upload it when it's finish. Deleted1308005User
I meant that if it's the 1 damage in couple of seconds for many hours, and you consume more and more skooma, the effect stacks and causes higher and higher DPS.

But skooma consuming doesn't deal that damage. The damage that you mean is in the addiction effect. Anyway, it's not tested, so you could be right.
