cursedlife1126
I've had it... I have spent an entire weeks time manipulating these collections of mods in every way humanly possible. Archiveinvalidation file written by hand, extraction of all bsa with script edits included, used all known organizers, and anything else suggested by over 35 websites. I simply can't make some of the meshes/textures function properly. ooo, mmm, fcom, ba, fran and all accepted and compatible mods. No matter what I do, no matter how I go about it, some of the meshes and textures simply won't work. I've read all about how the glitch with the creation of oblivion won't load some meshes/textures due to a bsa archiveinvalidation restriction. I've read and implemented every know configuration on 15 re-installs of oblivion. I simply can't stress enough just how many ways I've tried to get this fixed. From the official fcom site to every known forum, to every known problem solving site and then some that addressed the conflicts and issues pertaining to bsa's and other modding faqs. Every single method used was on a fresh install. I read all about how OOO has issues not loading these meshes/textures. I, as said before, tried every know type of validation including the method not recommended which is to extract the bsa files into the appropriate folders. Is there something I'm missing? I reloaded the batch.o each and every time a file was introduced and also defragged the HD after every two install attempts, configured the obmm invalidation record, extracted each bsa into the appropriate folders on the last two tries, used fcoms' very own load order configuration, wrye bash loading and batch rewrite including my own personal touches to the load order (after all else failed). Changed the dates of those that conflicted, and wrote the invalidation record by hand on the last two tries. I guarantee that every single solitary mod and update installed were the newest as of a week ago including the update of one of the update files which was released two days ago (can't recall the name at the moment). Believe me, I have literally tried everything I know. Never missing a step. So, here I am.. At a loss. All of my pc components are up to date in both hardware and software. Vista UAC turned off and any other conflicting possibility under the sun manipulated in order to allow these mods to run. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. If, in fact, somebody actually offers me a solution that by some miracle I missed, I will give you a long deep virtual kiss unless rejected. lol P.S. I do not own SI. If indeed you have installed everything correctly, there is a mod called archive invalidated, it basically creates an edit in your oblivion ini file, that stops the need to validate new textures thus helping with the installation of mods with textures and meshes. There is also a mod called Form Finder ID that helps identify missing textures or meshes. midniteinc
