(MOD) M1911 (solid snake operator)

Nice looking piece. I carried the M1911 for a while, Its heavy. I always felt like I was walking with a list when packing it. But that weight gives you a good feeling. The M1911 is a short range man stopper. It will put a man wearing body armor on the ground with a major bruise. Advantages, reliable, heavy stopping power, ammo is easily available, reasonably accurate within it's design range. Disadvantages, heavy, must chamber the first round manually, fairly short range, not a lot of penetration (this is both an advantage and disadvantage)

my only suggestions would be to add a little more base lighting to the diffuse, not over done, but a bit of dodge on the top of the slide. also the bright edging gives it that warn look, it helps to keep it a bit more randomized, instead of doing every single edge.

Looking good! The wear on the edges of the gun give it much more realism. Maybe you could make the tip and the trigger shiny? I think that would look neat. I will definently download this gun now.

I want to release it as soon as possible, it is working right now as a replacer, but I dont want to release another replacer, I want to make its own weapon, unfortunately, I dont know how to do that yet =[

Awesome model! But could you please re-work it so that the hammer is cocked? :pinch:

1911's are single-action only, so if the hammer is down the gun is a dead brick that's only good for pistol-whipping people.

 

 

You might also talk to Vashv1985 (I think that's his full SN) - he's got an FN-FAL mod and a Desert Eagle mod that both are 100% functional as full additions, not replacers. He's modded the loot tables and everything so they appear with Talon Company and Raiders!
