Sigurd44
Hallo, As I am done with follower, idle/animation, weapon/armor/item retexture and body texture mods (after weeks of tyring and installing and reinstalling I got my dream setup to work at last), I am on Lighting/ENB and exterior mods now. The ones I have chosen so far are: 1) Lighting/ENB mods: -RCRN as Lighting mod (or Ultra Realistic World Lighting as a one click option) arguments: pro: - both are easy installable/deinstallable - both do not interfere much with other mods, especially WATER (visibility of underwater textures, green water bug or else) - while RCRN delivers a colder, realistic sort of light, it shines with an awesome sharpness and delivers interior lighting too, URWL has sadly no interior lighting, but creates an awesome blaze of colors for every exterior texture/structure of other high rez exterior mods (be it flora, rocks etc.) I am pretty pleased with those two mods, I may switch among them, but will not use any other mod. Decision was made, basta. b) Exterior texture mods: -Enhanced Night Skyrim (does not effect any other mod I know, seems to be a real sort of "standalone") -WATER (water effects, but also wet rock effects and forge basins water will be effected, ice textures too and maybe certain snow textures)-Serious HD Retexture Skyrim (rocks, roads, fallen leaves, snow, but some sort of grasses and ice/snow too) -Skyrim Flora Overhaul High Rez version (does effect all sorts of grasses, but also fallen leaves and some sort of "pines")-Lush Trees (compatibility patch for Flora Overhaul, so no conflict with this mod at least)-Static Mesh Improvement (does affect forge water basins, might overhault the basin texture, but cancel the basin water texture from WATER) Those mods are compatible and stable if installed all together, but they interfere partially (some overwrite textures of the other). As there aren't unlimited good exterior texture mods out there, the chance somebody runs them all too is pretty large. So my question is, what install and overwrite order he chose for the best result (means as much high rez textures with highest rez as possible, my Nvidia 580 GTX, 8 Gig RAM and 2600K CPU still has lots of reserves, running about 40 to 50 mods now and no performance issues yet) . If there are any other good exterior texture mods out there, I overlooked, feel free to post them. Edited November 26, 2012 by Sigurd44
