ElizabethLestrad
I came across a problem while I was trying to take several screenshots that I could not get consistant lighting and shadows due to the weather and how quickly time changes. So I was wondering if there was a way to mod the length of time per hour. Example: 1 hour = X min to 1 hour = 900 min and 100% of Clear Weather (no worrying about sudden rain or snow, etc) That way I could get everything right, then have plenty of time to do the various posings and such for the screenshots without having to constantly worry about whether the light and such stayed the same. Getting the weather you want is an easy console command: fw <code> Example for clear skies: FW 38EEE Force Weather Instantly set the weather to a particular type. The code must be one of the following: 38EEC - overcast 38EED - snowing 38EEE - clear 38EEF - foggy 38EF1 - thunderstorm 38EF2 - raining 38EFE - cloudy This can be really handy if you want a screenahot with it snowing. For other console commands click here. {most common console commands} Thank you UESPWiki. As for setting the time, I saw something somewhere... ah yes, in Delte's Thread of Immersion in the Bethusda forums, you can find that thread here. Quoting Delte: "The default timescale setting in Oblivion is 30. That means that one real minute passing equals 30 minutes in the game." and "How do you adjust timescale? It's a simple console command. Just open the console and type: set timescale to 10. Change the value to any timescale setting you desire. If you want to play in real-time mode, then use the command: set timescale to 1. Your game will then proceed at a pace equal to real time. One real minute will equal one minute in the game. (You could actually set your real clock by it.) If, for any reason, you wish to go back to vanilla timescale, then just type: set timescale to 30." So if you want obivion time to run even slower than real time, you can try typing ->set timescale to .5 Please note I said try., a setting of 1 may be the slowest Oblivion will run. Help with console commands is easy to find, but if you still need help, give another holler.

However, keep in mind that 2 quests, a blush with death, and where spirits have lease, make use of functions which are based on the 30 timescale, so you may want to download my quest fixes (smarter timescale) or just set it back to 30 for the duration of these quests. The other option would be to re-create the environment of whatever you wanted to screenshot, but instead use perpetual lighting of some sort. While this isn't practical for most uses, it can help out for certain, staged, screenshots. Additionally, you can also use setgamehour (0 - 23) to force the clock to a certain time.
