You can have multiple mods installed. Problem is, when they modify the same thing.

For an example using 2 rebalance mods at one time, where both mods provide DefaultGameCore.mod, would result in one mod ovewriting the other. Or mods both altering Kevlar HP.

But in your case I think it's safe to use Free-Camera or XCOM Toolboks with Warspace, because those all are great quality and smart mods. When using Toolboks, tick or change options you desire.

I think i will move on to something else.

Loading the XCOM toolboks is complicated.

I could not get this to work at all.

Followed instructions, downloaded XSHAPE, Java 32bit, checked the current version of the game, etc

When i press the .bat file, 2 errors come up:

One says can't find the Modpatcher?

Second says can't find Java?

I know Java is installed because the Warspace Mod asks for it.

So you managed to run XCOM ToolBoks 0_10Beta.exe, set it and patch the game?

Please can you be more specific? What batch file? XSHAPE.bat? XSHAPE updates the game executable with new info about altered upks. If not done, the game crashes.

XSHAPE has 16 error codes described in this thread's first post. I am sure we can manage to troubleshoot it, but it's up to you, if you want to continue.

Ok, i will give you a step by step account of what i did.

I made a backup copy of \XCom-Enemy-Unknown\XComGame\CookedPCConsole\XComGame.upk.

I ran the XCOM ToolBoks 0_10Beta application.

The GUI was displayed and i changed the settings, ticked the enable free rotation & ticked remove overwatch & hunker down delay.

Then pressed apply changes.

Downloaded XSHAPE

Extracted the patcher which says "patcher", Windows Batch File to main game folder, and then ran it.

And got the errors:

Can't find the Modpatcher?

Can't find Java?

Edit: The Game then wouldn't load at all, so i put my back up copy of XComGame.upk. into the CookedPCConsole folder and it worked again.

As mentioned i've got Java installed for the Warspace Mod which works fine.

I have no other Mods installed.

Extract files below from 7z archive into your XCOM EU root folder. I have S:\Steam\SteamApps\common\XCom-Enemy-Unknown\.

XSHAPE.bat
XSHAPE.jar
XSHAPE.config

Edit XSHAPE.bat to look like this (add pause):

@echo off
java -jar XSHAPE.jar -v 0
pause
Run XSHAPE.bat, should show message about updating SHA hash. Or it will output specific error. Edited by Drakous79

Thanks Drakous79 for helping people getting ToolBoks to work :)

For those still having problems with XSHAPE and Java, I'm updating my mod to simplify the installation without requiring XSHAPE. Decompressing upk files will also be handled by the mod :)

It should be ready within a couple of days.
