Can someone please make a weapon plaque, or wall display mod that will allow you to show & mount your bows, arrows in quivers, or even crossbow bolts in the pouches upon you home or house walls. Can you please make them buyable, or obtainable through the console, so they can be placed anywhere, and in any house.

Or alternatively, if there is such a mod available, can you pleas epoin tme in the right direction.

With greatest respect to all the talented modders out there.

Cheers

There's Jaxonz Positioner (SKSE dependent - move with keyboard) and also CD Cooley's Decorator Helper (Non SKSE dependent - move with spells) both of which will allow you do take or duplicate, move, resize, place almost any object in the game, including light sources. You can grab any weapon rack or plaque you like and set anything you like on it, using one of those mods. The difference between this and vanilla is you can take the weapons (or whatever) back, but you have to use the mod again to replace it, rather than just walking up and activating the plaque. When you drop your arrows, they should fall in a quiver, which you can pick up and "stick to" the wall or plaque, just like you would the weapon, and a lot more. I have decorated entire homes with Jaxonz, including plaques and things mounted directly to walls.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I have both of those programs, but none of them allow you to do what I am looking for. I am particularly looking for a mod that allows you to display your arrows in the quivers, and crossbow bolts, and of course the bows. Crossbows can be placed on weapon plaques, but bows cannot.

I do use Jaxonz's positioner quite a lot, but the SSE version will not allow you to move mannequins. The decorator helper will allow you to move mannequins, but will not lock them in the position you move them to, as they always return to whence they came.

I would also be very interested in a mod tha tallows you to move mannequins to where you want them to go, and to lock them in place.

Mannequins cant be moved like that. Since the xmarker heading reference box determines where it spawns, and cant be activated in-game, every time you enter a level theyll spawn where the xmarker tells them too.

Its very easy just to load the creation kit and move the mannequin, only takes a few seconds.

Hi,

That's well and good my friend if you know how to use the creation kit, which I don't, but would like to learn how.

Here is what helped me. https://www.creationkit.com/index.php?title=Category:Getting_Started *Note - this covers both Oldrim and SSE, so you'll need to be careful to get the right kit for the game.

There is a link to return to the tutorial hub, which has a list of common job-specific tutorials, but there are many more. Just type a few words into the search box at the top right, to help find the rest.

I tend to do best with tutorials that I can keep open in the background and follow step-by-step. If you prefer video tutorials, there are many good ones, but I would suggest taking a look at Darkfox127's tutorials. He does them on plaques, racks, planters, mannequins, patrol packages, all the useful things.

As far as the crossbows and bows go, I have never had issues with mounting bows to weapon racks or plaques in the vanilla game. The reason I suggested Jaxonz or Cooleys is because you would need them to add the ammunition to the display. I have never seen one that would allow for the ammo to be mounted to a plaque along with the weapon. If I ever do, I'll holler.

Thanks for that. I will certainly check it out.
