Cannot get through Arch-Curate Vyrthur

Now this is just screwed up. I dunno if it's an offending mod or something, but every time I beat Vyrthur's minions and he gets ready to collapse the ceiling on me, CTD.

 

I have a debug log, but it's full of crap, so I can't figure it out. Here are the parts are where I THINK the crashes occur. (I suck with Papyrus, though, so I have no clue.)

just a hunch here but its not a flash player issue is it ? i know some if not most games now switch between modes for cut scenes such as the one you mention and either employ the bink video player (very common) or other forms of media playback programs ,might be worth digging a little deeper .

ah well you should post the solution for others to see and that sounds just like the Fallout 3 custom race Broken Steel crash bug

 

for Broken Steel there was custom race patch for that if I remember correctly.

so I am more inclined to race compactibility in the case as well :happy:

Thanks, had exactly the same problöem, tryed disabling all Dawnguard related mods .... didn't do the trick. But disabling PCEA just for this fight made it happen .... so if anyone has the CTD just when the ceiling should come down, try disabling PCEA.

The sad part is, I get the SF_BardSongsInstrumentalWedd_0010C67B error constantly, and I've never installed PCEA, or any race mods with the character I'm using now.
