KnightRangersGuild
Other NPC's I've made have no problem sleeping in their own bed's, that is why it's bothering me so much. I know this is trivial but I really would like to know? Thanks for the help, if I get any that is.Do I need to link them? And if I do, why do I need to link them and not other NPC's? McSkadeSCS
:psyduck: Why would you want her to sleep anyway it has no point
TheGreenLion
Thanks for that ridiculously pointless post McSkade. I'm not sure how you would go about doing that, I suppose you could try messing with her AI packages to include a sleep package and make the ref Lydia so that she searches out an unowned bed wherever she is. Not at my computer at the moment though so I can't test it out. There may also be a way to get a script to override packages and make it a daily routine but I haven't got a clue when it comes to scripting. Ghaunadaur
What TheGreenLion said. Add a default sleep package to lydia. Set a sleep location (the bed) and a schedule for this package. The order is important. It should be above the other AI packages.

KnightRangersGuild
Thanks for your help, actually she will sleep in every bed but hers, it's just annoying that's all. Edited November 28, 2012 by KnightRangersGuild
Ghaunadaur
I never modded Breezehome before, but I did some testing. Loaded Skyrim.esm and Update.esm in the Creation Kit. I found two possible reasons for this issue: 1.) The vanilla navmesh is faulty. There is the main navmesh and an additional navmesh island, which consists of 2 triangles and is located in the housecarls room. Deleting these triangels and redoing the navmesh will allow Lydia to access her room and the bed. 2.) The marker for the bed is facing towards the wall, so Lydia can't get in her bed. It needs to be replaced with a bed that has the marker on the left hand side. After I made this changes, Lydia was sleeping in her bed at night, without adding a AI package. Hope this helps. TheGreenLion
Poor Lydia, and all this time I thought she was just overly concerned! :(
