I deleted everything that was in the FNIS folder I don't need them that bad anyway, it already caused several issues and I'm done! I just want to play the game. And I still cant fight on horseback! All i do is stand on top my horse when I draw my weapon? Do I have to unpack the horse fighting animations and overwright them or something? Please help, because if I don't fix this then I'm giving up on playing skyrim altogether. Edited by KnightRangersGuild

Hmm, or you could delete the animations folder completely, see if it changes anything, if so then reload any animation mods you have that aren't related to horses.

I don't think I have any animation mods, but yea that might work thanks. I think I'm going to try to unpack all the horse combat animations and add and overwright them to data first, then I am going to try your idea, TY

I believe mods that alter the default Races can cause this as well if they don't include the proper Mount Data and Attack Data for the Races. Anything that adds any extra customization to the Character Creation menu, or changes one of the meshes associated with a race (Bigger Argonian Tales for example), is suspect.

You can either try turning said mods off one at a time and testing in-game (may cause issues if you don't use the console to change any custom added aspects of your character back to a vanilla setting), or you can try loading suspect plugins up in TES5Edit along with Skyrim.esm, and Update.esm. If you find a plugin that contains "Races" as one of it's main branches, but the Entries under that branch (RaceArgonian or RaceBreton, etc.) don't have the Mount Data and Horse Combat related date contained in Update.esm (Once you click on one of the entries previously mentioned, right click in the View Window on the right and make sure "Hide no conflict rows" is selected, then scroll through til you find the culprit plugin.) If you aren't seeing the Mount Data Section or the Attack Data sections at all (with "Hide no conflict rows" selected) it means all of the plugins TES5Edit has open also have the correct Horse Combat and Mount Data.

If you find a mod that isn't updated for Horse Combat you can try contacting the Author, updating it yourself through the CK (or just adding blank fields in the CK and copying over the data in TES5Edit). Or possibly making a Bashed patch out of the mod with Wrye Bash.

Thanks for the help! I didn't think I had any race mods but I checked and what do ya know for some reason I have some witcher race mod from something and I don't know what, maybe ultimate witcher mod or something. Hmm all I wanted was the armor, not the race! Well I will look into this thanks for your help, I'll let you know.

Post your load order and whatnot. What version of Skyrim you're running, whether you have Dawngurad or not, and what version of SKSE you're using (if any) along with any SKSE plugins you may have.

Remove the contents of your behaviors folder.

Hi Fore, I do really love your mod but I think I need to pin down this problem first then once I know what's causing it then I can get your FNIS mod agian because I really liked it and used it all the time. But I'm glad you are helping me with this it's driving me nuts!

OK, so I got rid of the behavior files along with all others that came with the file, and now it is CTD right away, I think the problem lies in I got your mod a long time ago when they first came out before I got NMM.

I also noticed source files you included, Is this the original default ones? Thank you for helping me. So do you have anymore advice I can try? I looked at all your files in the folder and deleted all of them and now it is CTD,

So I'm stuck I don't know what to try next?

Edit: OK so It wasn't removing the behavior files that made it CTD, it was a mod I was working on. So I did what you said and tried removing the behavior files and all others related to FNIS and i still stand on my horse. I even unpacked the original files and put them in my data folder and still the same. I just cant seem to find out what is doing this.

Still messed up, I got rid of all Idle, animation, and race mods and I am still having the problem of standing on my horse when I draw a weapon. I' tried everything I can think of someone please help. I've scoward the forums and google and only one person I found that fixed this problem and it had to do with Animated Prostitution. I do not have Animated Prostitution.
