mightygazelle
I gave up with Maya's nif export/inport for nif files. Instead I used blender (its free) for conversions to and from .nifs. Blender supports a whole range of different file formats and I ended up choosing .obj files for importing/exporting from maya into Blender. Does anyone know if thats the best choice, I loose all normal information and have to redo those in blender, but UV maps port nicely and I find it a lot easier to make those using Maya as thats the enviroment I was tought in. Skree000
see where it says [+] ninode what pops out when you click the + sign. If you look at the items in that list, it might give you a hint as to whats gone wrong or whats missing. I would assume its the NiStrips / niTristrips data block. Cant help you with blender but if you ever pick up max i can walk you thru it :)
