Hook mesh with no handle???

Hi all was wondering if anyone knows if there is a hook anywhere in skyrim or its DLC,s that has no handle as I am looking to attach it to a chain mesh for a mod I am working on. So far I can only fond the skyrim hook with a big annoying wooden handle lol.

Removing that handle on the hook should be relatively easy, I will try to explain.... Look at the hook in creation kit first then when your in CK look at the nif of the item, then you will see a 3d image of it when you click on it , if the handle is separate from the hook then you can change the texture to something called "Null Texture Set", it should be in the list, that will make the handle disappear. If it's all one piece then you must get rid of it in the actual nif file. Here is how... Copy the hook nif file then open it, and find something called "NiTriShapeData" and on the bottom there should be in block details there should be "Triangles" you must find and delete each triangle for the handle or turn the number to 0.

Sorry but this is the only way I know how to do it, I was just trying to help you because I really hate when people don't help me on here.

 

This is assuming you have nifskope and know a little about the CK ....And to answer your question , no I think that is the only hook in the game

Thanks man i will give this a try. I have manually skinned armor in Nifskope adding each individual vertex weight one by one so doing the triangles thing should be a breeze cheers man
