IDIdBoratsSisters Posted February 23, 2020 Share Posted February 23, 2020 I find Fallout 3 barely worth playing without like at least 3 pages of the most endorsed mods. My problem is I always run into one problem or another. Even after using mod merging patches, and Wrye Bash, I still find myself having to tediously go through everything with a fine tooth comb in FalloutEdit. I suppose my suggestion is a simple installer for a pile of the most endorsed mods, that will make the game workable with many mods without the need for tedious intervention. I figure one can't just smash all the mods together and release a big mod pack because that would require permissions from every author... I was thinking perhaps an installer with a list of mods to get. The user could download the mods individually, and the installer would install them in the best working order, and provide a proper merged patch, and load order. I know some may say that it would take away the customization of modding, but many of the big mods have in-game customization menus anyway. I'm really looking forward to that.As it stands I have both Oblivion and Fallout 3 malfunctioning severely, and I've tried reinstalling everything, and going through the mods one by one to error check each time.
