voodoojedizin
Is this a trick question? And you been playing the game how long? You don't have to start a game completely over start your game that the fallout entrance using a save file it's not over written. Or use the code in consul to bring up the face changer. Why can't you use the robot in your megaton house or 10 penny tower?
Emmine
voodoojedizin you muppet, read the thread. He means appearence, not hair style. As for the question about presets, Presets are npcs. Look under the race npc for a group of 10 with the words preset in them, thats them. When you open them you'll notice it has "face is a preset" box ticked. The faces are basically ---> Race face + preset face. So changing what the race face looks likem, effects ALL presets. As for why the ingame window looks different from ingame? I think irs mostly a question of lighting. I believe it was true in oblivion as well. Best bet is to make a preset in the geck, its still off, but closer. Emmine
oh and if you want to change race, you will ALWAYS lose any stat giving perk effects, maybe others as well. So the best thing to do is use this page: http://www.bethsoft.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=895013 To remove the perks you have, then give them back to your character. Scroll down to the player.addperk menu a few posts down.

SecretStash
Received this PM from a fellow modder:Presets are stored in the same tab as NPC's and Player-easy to locate,as there are 10 of them lined up together for each vanilla race/gender. Easiest way: get my custom presets for vanilla races here on Nexus, load this mod ONLY as active in GECK- in NPC (or characters, don't remember) tab every entry marked with * is new custom preset I made. For your own presets you can use any preset EXEPT preset 01 for caucasian male-don't touch this one,it contains some extra data, forgot what exactly, just don't use it to be safe. You can have AT LEAST 99 presets for each race/gender, I didn't try to go over 99 yet.You can have as many esp. with presets loaded at the same time as you like-if 2 or more affect SAME PRESET NUMBER- esp. loaded LAST wins-you'll get face from this one. Load order in FOMM: Top of the list-loaded first-always starts with FO3.esmbottom of the list-loaded last, will win any conflict and override data from any esp/esm loaded before it if affects same data. You can paste this reply in that forum topic-this way I hopefully will get less PM's about same issue, hehe dimon I think that with Emmine's advice plus this I should return with favorable results. Hopefully these tips help others that were wanting an answer to this problem.
