Solution to playing on different displays?

So I want to play Skyrim SE (Modded of course) on one of my non-primary displays, but there are issues with this and the only solution is changing the primary display every time you switch from playing, back to desktop use. (Not very Ideal)

In my setup I have two monitors side by side, and a 4k TV above them both being used as a monitor.

My main display is one of the two below it, but only for a few specific games, such as skyrim, I like to use my 4k TV to play the game on.

The issue is every time I want to do so, I have to change my primary display which often messes up my desktop icons.

I found this solution:

"Sorry to bring up an old post, I write this only so if anyone else has this problem in the future at least the answer is out here, I found that the problem happens when two lines are not in both the Skyrim.ini and the SkyrimPrefs.ini and those lines are:
iAdapter=1
sD3DDevice="Your Graphic Card Name Goes Here"
normally they will be in the SkyrimPrefs.ini but not in the Skyrim.ini so just copy them over and your game will launch on your second monitor like you want. They go under the [Display]
iAdapter=0 "Default Monitor"
iAdapter=1 "Second Monitor"
iAdapter=2 "Third Monitor"
and so on"
But it did not do anything at all, like literally nothing changed, or maybe I just did it wrong :/ probably not still just a thought.
Not sure if this means anything (see screenshot provided, gyazo link) in windows it appears to be Monitor 2.
I am not the only person with this issue, there are many people on many forums complaining about it.
If you guys have any information or ideas on a solution to this it would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same issue, the solution you mentioned used to work in original skyrim but broke in special edition. Not sure if there is a fix but I usually work around by moving the window as game launches (Bethesda Logo screen) by pressing Windows-Key + Shift + right arrow ( to move to screen on the right ), this requires you to be in windowed + borderless mode. With iAdapter would be fixed. Note you can only do this method on logo screen not once you reach the menu screen.
