How intensive are the HD mods?

I've seen mod for 2k textures and the like, but I read a topic (not on these forums) the other day about people maxing out 2gb graphics card quickly with mods like that, limiting their ability to use other mods? I assume that Fallout 3/NV/oblivion/morrowind will be less of an issue with HD mods (because the games are obviously more dated in the gfx department), but how demanding should I be expecting these mods (and others like monster mods and the like) to destroy my new system? I just ordered it today, but I'm trying to compile a list of mods, starting with HD graphics ones, that I'll be able to use. I know I won't be able to make it look like this: http://kotaku.com/5961994/what-skyrim-looks-like-when-youre-running-100-mods-at-once, (oh god I wish i could) but i'd just like to know what I can do. It will have a 2gb 670, and a i5 3750k processor, 8gb of Ram. Running 1080p.

Also, if you'd like to recommend some extremely amazing mods you can't just live without, (or if certain HD mods are just of higher quality than others and you know the best of the best, feel free to show me!

lol no that guy has a serious rig and even he doesnt play he just does screen archery but you should be fine with that setup though DON'T use an enb unless you plan to tweak it for hours to make it look pretty just change out textures wor the landscape and stuff and it will look great im not sure about the lighting mods either but I can tell you thats a way better rig than mine and I can manage like 30-high 50's on a gtx 260m on high but with some tweaks and texture mods I have loads of those however you might be able to do the grass mod ok at a little loss but Im almost positive that that guy has major tweaks and a ENB as well. PM if you want to know what I use and the grass mod because its kinda hard to find.

Also you should definetly OC your graphics card if you think your rig can handle it but look around for stable setups first before you do it will help boost your frame rate once you get modding...
