skarvika Posted November 30, 2012 Share Posted November 30, 2012 (edited) This happens with both Dawnguard and Hearthfire. The base game runs fine with and without mods. I've tried adjusting my sound settings (I've read that this is a common fix) and disabled all my mods (even tried deleting them from my Data folder altogether) and the game still crashes whenever I try to load Dawnguard or Hearthfire. I'm really at a loss here guys. :( Can anyone please help?? EDIT: Patching the game to 1.7 worked. It also started randomly crashing to desktop without error frequently during gameplay. Everything's working just fine now. I know this is a pretty common issue, but I've only seen someone recommend updating the game once :confused: , so hopefully someone with the same problem will find this thread and try it.If an admin or mod sees this, please lock. :thumbsup: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
