dlw154 Posted February 29, 2020 Share Posted February 29, 2020 Once I started the main story line quest "the fallen" I was no longer able to talk with Balgruuf or Proventus. Additionally, the quest marker for "talk to the jarl of whiterun" is missing. Its almost as if the game is not recognizing that there is even a jarl. The issue seems to only be in Whiterun. For some reason a similar problem is happening with Holda in the Bannered Mare where I cant try to buy anything from her nor can I ask about rumors. I tried to spawn in an extra balgruuf and I tried to kill and resurrect him but nothing seems to help. I would just use the setstage console command to progress but I don't think that will fix the issue itself. Has anyone had this issue before or have any ideas on how I might fix it?
