I have been trying to make a new weapon based off wanda but I want it to use the model of the combat shotgun. So far Ive changed it so when you drop it ,it looks like a combat shotgun but I could use some advice on how to do that when I'm using it.

Do you think you could describe exactly what you are trying to do. (what is wanda) I have added my own weapon to the game so I could help. (just be a bit more clear about what you are doing).

Yeah I was sorta unclear. What I'm trying to do is to take the base stats of Wanda (a beefed up assault rifle that's already in game 0006B533) and make it fire .308 ammo which Ive already done but I'd like to switch it's in game model and animations to that of the combat shotgun.

Ok! now we're getting somewhere. Assuming you are familiar with adding a new weapon to the game (there are some good tutorials on this site) all you really have to do is copy the combat shotgun in FOMM and give it a new number and just change the settings so they are the same as the Wanda (this is the easiest way). It sounds like you already have the gun in game if you based it off of the Wanda then it is difficult because it is still using the animation lengths and sounds as the assault rifle, it's best to just use the shotgun as base, copy it and change the stats, ammo and the sound if you want to.

when you select the weapon in the WEAP record the weapon stats appear in the side panel they can be edited easily by going in the bottom panel and selecting the DATA record and I think the one below it has info as well. Most of this is easy to change (no hex) Just change the values.

Maybe try a newer version of FOMM, when I double click on the weapon's DATA record I get a Window with a bunch of text fields with their descriptions beside them. Your version of FOMM might be from before they decoded that stuff.
