Companion hud

ok,

 

i've finally got a companion (dogmeat) and i'm finding it a little annoying to go into VATS everytime i want to check his health

 

i think it would be neat to have a little health bar (or health/max health) out on the hud so you know immediately how he's doing,

 

let me know if it's done (looked through the files and haven't seen it)

or if it's in the works

I like your idea very much. I would like to add to this by saying that it would also be very useful if it included anyone who is following you.

i actually got to thinking that it would make battles a lot easier/simpler if say on the stats page of your pipboy, you could have the ability to monitor your companions (ie crippled limbs/ health) and apply items like med-x and stimpaks.

 

it seems simple enough to do so i might actually attempt this portion of it when the cs comes out

who knows, i might actually be good at it...
