Ghola8
Hello, everyone. First time poster here. I've been kicking myself for not jumping in to this community for awhile. After messing around with the Creation Kit, I've realized that I need a partner (or two?) in order to make my mod ideas come true. I'd hope to do a good portion of the writing, character design, and voice acting myself, while my partner could undertake the scripting and overall quest mechanics. I do bring some professionalism to my (admittedly the "fun part) role in this; I'm a published author of short stories, and I did some acting in high school and college, and I still have a large group of voice actors to call upon. The two biggest ideas I have are:1) Following the devastation and unrest caused by the Stormcloaks, a new power rises in the frozen islands to the north. A woman with unbridled destruction powers is gathering the greedy, the disenfranchised, and the merciless to her side, intent on carving a kingdom of her own from the war-wracked country. She brings together the various Stormcloak commanders from across the land, shutting down the struggling rebel camps and amassing them into one force. She rescues the displaced Jarls and their loyal retainers from Windhelm and uses their authority to burgeon her own might. And she has her sights set on an alliance with the Forsworn, willing to concede the Reach to them if they bring their brutality to her cause. Only the Dragonborn can stop her, but she is not above seducing the legendary hero: The Dovakhiin must chose whether to conquer Skyrim by her side, or stand in her way. (This would require completion of the Civil War storyline, and I believe it might have to be done only if the player chose the Imperial side.) 2) "Stolen Youth" - An Argonian father contacts the Dragonborn through a courier, pleading with him to save his children's lives. He lives under a river alone, caring for three fertilized eggs that his wife died whilst laying. One day while out gathering food from the nearby forests, a thief stole the eggs from his home - his children have been kidnapped. In turn, the thief has sold the eggs to: a slaver who raises slaves to be gladiators from childhood, who the Dragonborn would have to face his brainwashed slaves; an avid egg collector who has hidden the egg among hundreds of others in his unkempt study tower; and a horrible Imperial cannibal who wants to make scrambled Argonian. A couple odd follower ideas I had as well:- A young Hagraven who was turned before her time by her evil mother. She still has much of her youth and beauty, but has the feathers and claws of a Hagraven. She'd have to be rescued from the Forsworn who were turning her first.- A bandit crew who is looking for a new leader. They'd have tryouts and the Dragonborn could take over the group and their hideout, using each bandit as a follower in turn, not unlike the Companions.- A dremora who is seeking asylum in Skyrim, unwilling to follow the perverse orders of his daedric lord any longer. And... Werebears. Has anyone done werebears yet? We should. I know that's quite a lot. It really is. But I truly hope I can work with someone(s) soon, on any or all of these ideas! Thanks for reading!
Voodo1314
Hey, I too have been looking for someone to collaborate with. I have a small amount of experience with quests and am eager to create a complex one like the ones you have described. Followers are certainly my speciality and they all seem easy enough to do so, with a bit of modelling on the hagraven one. I really like the idea of the argonian quest and the bandit leader and followers. So I hope we can work together.

I'm glad you like the Argonian egg idea - I think, if we do a great job on it, it could become pretty popular (and be fun to play, which is what really counts). So, where would you like to start? Maybe the bandit idea is the easiest to begin - especially with voice acting, since it would only require one or two new voices - it's a bit of a follower mod and a bit of a quest mod at the same time. Maybe we could work up from there after we've completed that one?
Ghola8
I forgot to ask which mods you had done! Just wondering if I'd played them before, or seen them around (or on AlChestBreach's videos).
Voodo1314
I forgot to ask which mods you had done! Just wondering if I'd played them before, or seen them around (or on AlChestBreach's videos). I have not published many of my mods; the only one being a Housecarl Re-Style (which is only on steam) which changed the looks and classes of the housecarls. The quest mods I've been doing were for me so I could learn what to do. The follower mods were again for me as I wanted some custom followers instead of the dull looking vanilla ones. So I am afraid you would not have played any of my mods
Ghola8
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=14668446 This one's yours too (saw it linked through the Housecarl mod page)? Because I actually have this - Just added it a month or so ago, haha. If so, amazing work. Let's make this happen. Did you want to start with the bandit mini-quest too?
