astarsis mods install help required

havent even tried 3 mods yet but i have tried his dark elves femals mod and his high elves females mod

 

now the dark elves mod worked 100% fine replacing all those horrid ingame faces

 

the later addition of the high elves mod has only replaced a total of 2 elves i have met so far.

 

so im wondering (hoping really) that someone who has all these mods running will be able to guide me through installing them so i can run them together

 

im not 100% sure what i should do with some of the extra files from the high elves zip either :(.

installing the stuff for data files is simple enough obviously even for me

 

but all his plugins come with additional files i have no idea what they are

I was not able to install any of the antarsis mods for the longest time...then I figured it out...

 

I am not very computer savvy and paid close attention to the error message and the path thing finally made sense to me...

 

When unloading all the files, if they are in a named folder, keep them in that folder and put the whole thing in the meshes or icon folders. I was extracting all of the files and putting them in the proper data files folder and it could not find any of them...they were like floatin around loose or somethin...

 

There will come a time when some DL's, after you unzip them will have folders with names that already exist in your meshes folder...like A or C...take these files out manually and put them in the already existing folder...do not replace the folder...you could lose a lot of stuff that way...

 

I hope all of my trial and error can be of some help...I have the antarsis replacement heads mod running, and alot of clothing mods...I still have lots of problems when trying to install new stuff tho...
