Optimising NIFs

I've decided to change over to Skyrim SE from my trusty old LE (for the umpteenth time, I always end up going back to Oldrim) Anyway, my character is of the Ningheim race but that mod is not available for SE.

 

First thing I did was to see how difficult/easy it was to convert it and apparently it's just a matter of optimising the NIFs. Now I know what NIFs are, how they're used etc and I found a mini tutorial to show me how to convert with a conversion program 'The SE NIF Optimiser' no less. Having done that nothing seems different and upon loading the mod into SE it just falls flat CTD.

 

There are no BSA files in the Ningheim mod so the unpacking and repacking part of the operation is unnecessary, I just need the optimising. Would there be a kind person out there that could spend a few minutes to do the operation for me, I'd be ever so grateful :wub: :thumbsup: Failing that, would there be someone who could explain it in plain English how I can do it, though it would probably take longer to type the answ3er than to do it for me hehe ... sneaky aren't I ... hehehe :whistling: :wink:
