My game doesn't work anymore

Hello

I forgot in the title: I'm talking about Skyrim Special Edition

My game crash just after "New game"

I followed a "tutorial" and installed Vortex SSEEdit and BethINI then I installed skse64 USSEP and SMIM
First in game test: the game crashed just after the intro video
So I uninstalled mods, crash again then removed skse64 (files and folders)
The game crashed again
I removed Vortex and verify files with Steam
Crash again
Deleted old savefiles :confused: ini files and all what I found about SSE on my computer then uninstalled the game rebooted Windows downloaded the game again and...
CRASH AGAIN but now BEFORE the intro video

What's wrong with this f...ng game ?

I also tried to block the internet connexion, whitelist "common\skrimse" folder in antivirus, verify dxdiag reinstalled my microsoft redistributables... without success

Your post shows severe signs of panic. Instead of deleting and reinstalling, read through a variety of these posts on different problems, many of which will give general useful advice. For a start, you need to tell us your setup to show it is good enough for the game. Then say how you start the game and what else is running at the time (no downloads, no Vortex etc). The start of the game does not like competition on the graphics card.

Did you had an older installed game maybe done by NMM or MO?

If so and you want to use Vortex then uninstall the previous version. Then reïnstall from steam a new version. After that first run it unmodded, this makes your ini files.

Now you can run Vortex and add mods. Not to much in one time. About 5 - 10 mods at one time, and run your game again. Confirm that the changes are there, and make a new save. Then repeat. If you don't make new saves it might happen that too many mods need to integrate in the game at once on an old save, and might give troubles.

Hello

My config is:
Windows10 - i7 7700HQ -8 GB - GTX1070
I run the game mostly with Opera Thunderbird Steam and Vortex running

 

I installed SSE last week and Vortex thursday for the first time i didn't knew it before, It's the first game I tried to mod
I don't knew MO and NMM

 

I erased all SSE related files I found (documents my games SSE; steamapps commons SSE, SKSE, SSEdit, BethINI, AND Vortex files and folders)
Of course all mods are removed before uninstall Vortex
I just kept largemods.7z files in my download folder

 

Ok so I just re downloaded the game
I'll now delete my savefiles block steamcloud reinstalling them
Close all other programs and try

Vanilla is working :smile:
I now install SKSE, Vortex and will try mods one by one
I will not install SSEEdit and BethINI this time


I finally found the solution:

Opera browser MUST be closed before playing SSE
