Genesisbreed Posted December 3, 2012 Share Posted December 3, 2012 I don't know if this is a new feature on the nexus since I am pretty new to it in general, but the fact that I can not refer to my downloaded history as soon as the new month rolls around? Seriously?!? I could understand not showing downloads over 30 days or even 15 days old unless your "premium", but being I can't see the mods I downloaded 2 days ago because its the turn of the month... that's just stupid don't you think? It doesn't even effect me, the curious new comer. Doesn't it effects the Mod writers in the community far more? Really, think about it. I just downloaded 5 - 10 mods last week (not and example, I really did) and I will not be able to give my endorsement to any of them... Unless I can remember what mod it was I downloaded. And being that I now have well over 100 mods at this point, will I really go through each one in the NMM (assuming I used it, and some of them i didn't) to find the link to the right page so I can endorse? ... I probably will because I think its important...BUT I KNOW most people could care less! Even if they like the Mod they aren't going to go through that amount of time and trouble. They are just going to say "Oh well...guess they don't get my vote" TO THE POINT. If I was a mod developer I would be P.O.'ed at the Nexus for this. Because they are robbing YOU, the mod developer of valuable endorsements. Ill give them the benefit of the doubt, and assume that someone just made an error when they were putting the function in and they really are not that poor in judgement. It was not done to rob anyone of anything, merely to free up server resources AFAIK. You have to keep in mind that you don't have to pay anything to use any of the Nexus sites. I can't imagine the costs of keeping all the sites and forums up and running as good as they are, especially given the mind blowing amount of traffic they receive. AFAIK the only things the premium members receive for their support are the complete download history, their own supporters image share, and the ability to not have to see adds on pages.
