uiea
Hi everyone, I am new to creating mods on XboxOne. I noticed in my own load order that the Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch and RaceCompatibility mods automatically go up to the top. Other mods I have downloaded that did that were esm files (they were deleted and I could see ".esm"). However, the creation kit doesn't allow me to set master files to active files which is needed to upload the files for console use. My question is, how are people uploading esm files if they can't be set to active? Are there third party tools I need to accomplish this? I've looked into the creation kit ini settings and tried a few things but so far nothing has worked. I also tried changing an esp file to an esm file and it would not allow me to set it as active either. Thanks in advance. EDIT: I discovered through someone else's help that you don't have to have an active .esm file to upload. Just load the custom .esm alongside the standard .esms and don't set an active .esp plugin. When you go to upload and the option will pop up and say there's no active plugin and to upload an .esm instead. You can use WryeBash to copy your .esp as an .esm or you can use SSEEdit to flag it as an .esm after you change .esp to .esm. I take no credit for this knowledge - I had help. I hope this helps someone else. Edited March 18, 2020 by uiea
