[LE] Changing npcs default armor

Is there a tutorial to replace npc default armor ? I want to change the entire stormcloak and imperial army to spawn with samurai-ish armors and weapon.

In this case all you would need to do is jump in the kit ... Each outfit is defined. Then actors uses the defined lists that hold the actually gear names. You could simply create your own outfit list then

make the factions use that list. OR you could just replace the current lists items with your own. To start you would just check [skyrim] as a mod but not the active one. Once loaded save the mod by the name you wish.

Find a guard, find his outfit, make your changes and save. Make sure and always use a save that has never seen your new mod each time you test things.

Good news is this should be pretty easy to do .. so have fun!

If you need to add your armor too just follow other items. Like start with a set that is like yours and rename it, click yes make a new item then add in your nif and item stats to your new item.
