Is there an better way than 'On Drop' to intercept the removal

I have a challenge I've added, to stay awake for 120 hours in game. (It's actually not much of a challenge, given the disgusting way sleep deprivation is handled, but whatever, it is what it is.) The challenge is controlled by a token that sits unobtrusively in the player's inventory and counts, resetting whenever the player sleeps. That's all easy-peasy.

 

But now, worrisome sod that I am, I wonder about occasions while the challenge is running that the player might be subjected to RemoveAllItems or similar harassment. If there is a better way than the onDrop block, I'd like to A) know about it and B) Use it.
