Idea's for a wanted criminal mod.

I'm looking for some ideas on where to start.

 

My idea: Making a mod that makes the character always wanted, and wanted dead!! I also want to make posses that come after the character such as those *Hired Thugs* or Thalmor. I want to always be on the run. Not sure how to make a mod like this. It seems feasible, but could someone point me in the right direction.

I would look at studying the current crime system, that is all of the scripts/factions/quests involved. Once done with that, I would make custom factions/npcs to be a part of the special encounter posses, and integrate some new scripts to work with the current system.

If I remember correctly, the PC is wanted dead by the Dark Brotherhood until you join it. Anyway you've just to tweak the factions.

 

@Arron:

 

IMHO a good crime system would be if you add a death penalty if you were caught by killing (or trying) someone important like walled city guards, Jarl, Jarl's superintendent. It would be amazing if you can use the scene used at Solitude when you enter the city the first time.

Also a real days in Jail system. It's stupid to have just 1 day in jail for killing an NPC.

One thing has always bugged me, standing in the middle of whiterun with 2 zombies and people are just like "Oh yeah another day on the farm."

 

They should all be out for your blood. You should be thrown into the necromancer faction while the spell is running.
