Crash on loading screen after adding mods

Hi, my game crashes on the loading screen after i install a mod.

i am really new at this and i dont quite have a clue of what im doing.

the nexus manager seems to work fine, the first mod i tried was the jasmin enb v6, the game worked afterwards but i didnt notice any change at all. (im not sure if i installed the enb correctly)

i carried on and installed the skse, patched to newest version (1.8.151.0), and tried adding a few more mods then i runned the game and encountered this problem.

the game wont work until i remove all of the mods (including the ones that didnt caused any problems) and launch through the normal launcher. (the skse launcher works, but again im not sure if i installed it correctly)

 

the mods that work: jasmin enb, and skyUI.

 

the other mods that im trying to run are :

 

Companion alina (with all the required mods)

 

DUEL combat realism

 

UFO ultimate follower overhaul

 

Vals crafting meltdown

 

More craftables

 

Legendary smithing

 

if anybody can offer any help i would be gratefull, im sure its some dumb mistake i made, because, as i said i have NO idea of what im doing lol.

 

PS: when installing the jasmin enb mod it says on the instruccions to add d3d9.ddl to jasmin folder, where exactly would that be?

So first things first, your problem could be caused by a couple of things usually it is caused by the game looking for a resource like a mesh or texture and it does not find it, the first and single most important thing you should do is very thoroughly and carefully read the descriptions and install instructions for every mod you are working with this will take a bit of time but trust me it is very much worth it you will save yourself a lot of trouble and time it is VERY IMPORTANT to do this so you know if your mod conflicts with another or has any further needed resources.

 

If it can be helped try using Nexus Mod Manager to install all your mods this makes it much easier for beginners.

 

Second thing get BOSS and run it; BOSS this is the second most important thing you can ever do while modding Skyrim, once it is done read the summary and the plug ins it will tell you a bunch of stuff you need to know.

With a little bit of patience and some effort you can have your game working in no time :)

P.S I know you have probably heard it before but if you have any questions just ask google you can find out just about anything you wish to know in addition check youtube for tutorials on installing the more complicated mods many of them have them.

thanks, i will do that. yeah i read the instruccions thing is i am very clumsy with computers and probably messed up. anyway thanks for the advice :)
