some examples:

magelight stream (continuous beam of light), working a bit like a flashlight.

magical flames - similar to vanila spell but whitish (and non-damaging). Also, that kind of spell but in the shape of 'midas fire missiles' would be cool. Any physical object hit with the spell would catch fire that would emit light for a period of time.

spell that casts orbs of light like vanila magelight but with possible multiple source of light, each of short duration time, around 5 seconds.
