I Think SSE Needs...

Adipose

Recommended Posts

A good, solid import of "Real Shelter". One ought to be able to duck under a porch overhang and at least escape from part of the deluge...even with various Cathedral effects installed.

A good "Locational Damage" import.

A good "Bandit's Eyepatch" import.

A good "stop fighting" mod so that idiotic follower constructs will stop trying to kill each other at random.

That follower fighting used to happen. I can remember Erandur being bashed by others, but that may have been because he was so irritating. I don't think I have had it with SE. So why not?

The first thing that comes to mind is that I used AFT with LE but am using EFF with SE. Also I may have something among my mods that prevents friendly fire, which of course could cause trouble. Actually, I'm sure that was it, which was why mages were more likely to be attacked.

I still have it with SE, using a port of AFT. I haven't used EFF, so I can't say if that will help. I sometimes get it from friendly fire incidents, but most often because I use Jaxonz Positioner to set up my homes, and every time I set something down is an opportunity for them to fight over it.

I don't know if you can use AFT with EFF or not; I've played around with both and EFF is vastly superior. I've used it in LE and now in SE. I don't generally have issues with unwanted combat involving followers. I find that EFF and RDO have enough tools to manage just about any situation in terms of stopping combat, changing relationship status/factions to prevent combat in the first place, etc.

The only times I really have issues are if I try to turn enemies into followers (takes some tweaking to make it work) or (very rarely) with followers using different follower frameworks. (For example, Sofia, Vilja, Inigo, and others have their own systems.)

EFF also has the ability (use carefully!) to forcibly take over a follower with a different follower system, too, which can cause problems or fix bugs depending on how it's done.
