enkephalin07 Posted November 28, 2008 Share Posted November 28, 2008 Most of the mods come with a readme to answer that (but I guess not all of them do...) Simplest way is with the launcher, before clicking on 'Play' click on 'Data Files' and check the boxes next to the mods you want to install. A cleaner way it add and remove them would be with Fallout Mod Manager (fomm) which is in the files section 'Fallout 3 Utilities'. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Smosh Posted November 28, 2008 Share Posted November 28, 2008 If the file is an .esp file it needs to go in your Data folder which will be inside the Fallout 3 main directory. Textures go in their respective folders and need to have the pathway to the files entered into the ArchiveInvalidation.txt (you may need to make this using notepad) and it goes in your main Fallout directory. You need to change your ini so that bInvalidateOlderFiles=1. By default it's 0 Make sure you change the correct ini. It should be in MyDocuments/MyGames/Fallout3/Fallout.ini Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
