If and when we do get to a town to pick up horses for all of us, we don't have the time to do anything else to prevent the enemy from gaining on us however."

shes right you know Raz. we are already being hunted down. buying eight horses will slow us down for a couple minutes but well gain more then that while using them.

<leon stands up and streatches>

A look of shock crosses Raz's face then turns to one of respect.

 

Raz: " Yes your right, forgive me, I'm still to used to dealing with honorable men or at least those with some morals.......the nearest town is 5 miles to the east, however I wish to continue pushing further south...there's one about 12 miles along our direct path in that direction. "

<Leon turns his back and walks of>

"Sounds good. We'd best hurry and try to gain some more distance before hitting the town. Also as it's directly on our path, they will likely all die if unwarned, so when we get there I'd like you to warn as many people as possible in the time we get the horses. Their fate will be decided by how well we can make them believe the story in the fast few minutes we stop in there, rest will be up to the villagers themselves. If all else fails I'll reveal my 'true' identity there and get them to run away from me."; Rin says while fastening the sword on her back and preparing for a long sprint. She then replies to Leon;"I believe Raz was talking about our enemies with the reference of not being honourable, now it would be your turn to apologize."

 

She takes a few quick steps and starts a full speed sprint in a matter of seconds as the main factor would be speed until they've reached the town, their own exhaustion wouldn't weigh much for a while afterwards as the horses would be running in their stead.

Raz: " No, I only meant that I wasn't used to dealing with an enemy of this vile a nature. you must remember I'm a Knight of the Old Order, we never had to deal with something this vile before, It's why we were so unprepared for Herax in the first place. "

Raz slings his right arm around Leon's shoulders and then walks with him back to the group.

 

Raz: " think nothing of it my friend. "

 

Raz then glares at the remaining knight's.

 

Raz: " well what are you waiting for....a invitation....Move Out!!! "

<begins a steady jog heading towards the town>

SOME TIME LATER AT THE TOWN

As the group arrives at the town, they realize that something isn't right. They begin to fan out through the small town at which point Raz order's Rin and the other's to find the group some horses at the stable. Meanwhile Raz and Leon will check out the Town Hall for any sign of the towns people.

 

Raz : " Ok there's the hall, I shouldn't have to tell you to be careful........and NO dumb Heroics this time. "
