"I'd say it was wise to finish them off, even if they didn't get our exact numbers, it would've been enough for Herax to capture them and interrogate them for it. I'd say killing them was mercy compared to what would've waited them, not that they're in any better place right now.";Rin says. She then calmly takes away her eye patch and says;"I guess it's about time I also explained my own situation, as there probably won't be a peaceful moment any time in the near future after this. -Deep sigh.- This eye of mine, which reflects the flames of hell, is the proof of my demonic blood and not that of a lesser demon either, my father is Baal, my mother I've never met and it's unlikely she'd even be alive."

 

Rin takes a small pause before continueing;"That old male without a father sent me on a mission to annihilate a village that put up some resistance to his troops far up north, but that's when the dragon intercepted me. I got a new task and at least have been temporarily released from the life of carnage, I've killed more people than I care to count, probably many thousands, however the dragon gave me an opportunity to be rid of all that. I will not blame you for hating me after I've explained all of this, but know that I am beyond the point of no return. About a day ago, almost two, I killed a general of my fathers army who was sent to watch me complete the mission I was assigned to. The family insignia disappeared due to him disowning me as a daughter and I probably have an assassination squad after me. You'll probably need a bit of time to think about all of this and to make a decision on what you intend to do next, but know that I don't intend to put any of you in danger. The question is, can you deal with me being here? You'll need to discuss about this with the others, I'll be waiting for the answer in the inn." Rin unsheaths her blade, hits it deep into the ground and leaves it standing there while she slowly walks towards the inn.

 

Rin sits down on one of the chairs in the inn and leans on the table, while her hands cover her face. For the first time in her life she waited for acceptance from a group that would most likely try to kill her on the spot if the situation wasn't what it was. She was anxious to know what the others thought of her after knowing all this, but at the same time slightly afraid aswell, all these feelings were completely new to her. The only feelings she had known before was the joy of killing and others hating her for what she was doing, for the first time in her life, she was completely and utterly confused.

<Leon watches as Rin walks off, back to the inn>

<he cocks his head to the side thinking>

well thats why she has the eyepatch and marking on her arm.

 

<leon shrugs>

well the dragons wanted her to be here and who am i to argue.

anyway it could be worse. Herax could be her father

 

<leon walks over to her sword, shruggles to get it out of the earth for a minute, then lifts it out then heads back to the inn, carrying it>

no one is beyond the point of no return.if you really wish to change you can.

it doesn't matter who your father is or what you've done.we've all done something that we're not proud of.but it's our present that makes us not our past.your here helping us.that's all that matters.

it shows that you have good in you.now i don't know about the others.but i accept you.

<cale smiles at rin>

<Leon walks into the inn carring Rin's sword>

I Agree with what Cale said. The past is the past.

it doesn't matter what you have done.

all that matters is what happens here and now.

and so what if your father is a demon. you said hes disowned you.

 

The Dragons have chosen you to be a knight.

Obliviously they think your good enough for it.

I've got no issue with you continuing to stay with the group.

i would be honored to call you a fellow knight.

 

<Leon grins then hands Rin's sword to her>

So are you going to stay?

Rin looks at Cale and Leon and then says;"I appreciate this guys. I intend to not let you down, don't have anywhere to return to if I fail this." Rin grabs her sword, puts it on her back before saying;"Now I believe we've got a mission. We'd better get going, before the others decide to leave us." For the first time during the entire trip, she smiled.

 

(OOC>I had to leave a bit early last night, we went to visit my uncle and when we got back, I fell on the bed like a dead lump.)

that sounds like a good idea to me.

i'll just make sure we have food for the journey.

<he lays the sack on a table, then turns to Rin>

i know hes a demon lord but i'm sketchy on the details of him.

if you don't mind my asking, that is. i understand if you don't want to talk about him.

Rin looks at Leon and answers;"Apart from being the lord of destruction and my father, you'd probably find the terms 'selfish', 'greedy', 'ambitous' and 'evil male without a father' to fit him perfectly. I've never seen his true form myself if that's what you're interested in, he seems to like using a human body. He commands a large demonic army with three, no I mean two generals now, since I killed one of them, and is currently trying to capture some god forsaken country up north, excuse me if the term sounds fun coming from me."

 

Rin takes a quick drink and then continues;"I've never really been fond of him, but I didn't really have anywhere else to go at the time. I will most likely have to deal with him myself at some point, but in our home realm, it is impossible. I'll simply lure him out at some point and finish off my loose ends. Until then I believe we've got things to do." She then starts heading towards the rest of the group. She hasn't heard what the rest apart from Leon and Cale thought of her, but she was slightly optimistic. Even if the others wouldn't say anything, it'd be better than outright refusal to accept her moving with them.

 

(OOC>Don't worry about it much, I'm not perfect either. On a personal note I think I actually had a bit too much drama on that explanation thing, but on the other hand if I hadn't done that, it wouldn't have made any sense at all.)
