Well, my right leg was amputated above the knee. This was due to a massive infection and lack of blood flow. I will be having a cast made this monday for a prosthetic lag, then a few week later, I will be getting my training leg. I figure that I will likely be in the nursing home for about one year. I have to cataract evaluation again, tomorrow, the those surgeries. Provided that other medical problems don't get in the waya.

My Medicaid was cut off as of ovember. So I am preparing a letter to fax to the trust to get the medical bills paid and cover my stay at the nursing home. Another medical problem may interfere withthe prosthesis and caataract surgeries: pressure sorex that developed while I was in the hospital this las time.It looks like my medical problems are starting to pile up on me.

Well,Since I lost Medicaid, and whthe Physical Therapist told me, I have decided to not have a prosthetic leg. It takes 80 percent more strength just to walk with an above the knee prosthetic. This is due to have to exclusively use the hip and trunk muscles. It would take too long to get to the point of walking and would likely be a waste of taxpayer money. they are very expensive. Besides, it is only a matter of time before I become a bilateral amputee.
