MGSO 3.0 Help--Unhandled Exceptions?

I have the STEAM version of the game, made sure it's a fresh install, disabled overlay etc. When I start up the MGSO installer, it drops some new files/folders into my install directory, and then.....nothing else happens. In my tray, there is an icon for 'UnhandledExceptions.exe' which has a check next to 'script paused' when I right click on it. I can't unpause the script, and nothing else will happen. Anyone know how to fix this? I've uninstalled and reinstalled a few times and still no luck.

I'm having the exact same problem. I have the steam version of the game and followed every instruction to the letter. UnhandledExeption.exe

Have you tried running it as an administrator?

That solved an unhandled exception error for me.

Here is the holy grail my friends: Run the MOInstaller in WindowsXP compatibility mode.
God I was so frustrated because of this issue for a long time...

My guess is that you have installed Morrowind (read the sections about Vista/Windows7 and Steam) into the C:\Program Files(x86) folder(Vista and Windows7) or into the C:\Program Files folder (WindowsXP).

 

Just reinstall Morrowind outside of Windows system folder.

I'm getting the unhandled exception error after setting which mods I want in the options phase of the MSGO installer after I click apply. I have tried all the solutions above, and I get the same error.
