remotecontrol
I got mods for Oblivion, seems simple enough... well at least once you got the tools needed to do it... OBMM, script extender... ect. Morrowind on the other hand, nothing seems to work. I'll post pics of the error messages I got for these two mods. Anyone able to explain whats wrong and how to fix it, what I need ...ect, they will be my hero. the first one is for a redwood bow mod the second is for morrowind comes alive 2.2 I have morrowind enhanced, script extender, graphics extender and TES construction set... patched up to date and everything, I think. Izzer like a archive invalidater er something I need?
zalunaya
I am not sure about the Redwood Bow mod; I have never used it before, however, you seem to be using an older version of Morrowind Comes Alive. The newest version of MCA is v5.2, which is available at FileFront and PlanetElderScrolls...it is also available up to version 5.1 on this site, though you must get the 5.2 patch elsewhere, it looks like. To narrow down possibilities, it may help to disable all mods, then turn them back on one by one, to see which is causing problems. From the screenshots, it looks like the files for the bow didn't end up in the right place. The .nif files must be in:Morrowind\Data Files\Meshes From the second screenshot...just try upgrading to version 5.2 of MCA. I hope this was some help :)

remotecontrol
I tried... doesn't work. I dunno, If i have to learn everything all over again like I did for Oblivion then I might not bother. It's too hard to find a place that has a tutorial that is simple and doesn't ramble. It took me a long time to figure out all the little tiny morsels of important info needed to mod Oblivion (all in different places) now it seems that morrowind has a different way to mod the game. All I need is a list of what I need to start... so that mods I put in actually have a base to work. Like the mod for the bow... in the texture folder, didn't even have anything except a picture of the texture...?!? ...apparently it works for everyone else. I know how meshes and texture files work, where they need to be, but for some reason I always get an error...
zalunaya
This site has some good tutorials all having to do with Morrowind mod installation:http://lovkullen.net/Emma/tutorials.htmlIt is very similar to modding Oblivion, though, so I don't know what the issue is unless it's an issue where the game thinks they are Oblivion mod files instead of Morrowind files(since both are .esp files, they would be recognized one way or the other, based on which Construction Set is marked...) Copy-Pasted text having to do with this issue: When I switched from Oblivion to Morrowind, there was a problem: the computer recognizes all .esp files as Oblivion Mods. I don't know if anyone else had this problem, but if they did, then right-click any .esp mod file, go to properties, and click the 'change' button where it says Opens With: to the Morrowind Construction Set.The mod files now work fine for me and I'm enjoying Morrowind mods !
