Beastlyqt
Heya, i bought Skyrim today and after some research i found out that there are Mods for Skyrim. So i want to ask if there are any packages with the best Graphic Mods (for the best Quality there is). Im new to Skyrim and Mods and i only want to upgrade the Quality for Skyrim. Which Mods can you recommend me? Are there any complete packages with many Mods included? Edit: Forgot to mention my Graphic card: ASUS DirectCU II 7970 and a i5 2500k cpu. Deleted1308005User
Okay, here's my ideas for enhancing visuals ONLY, no gameplay changes and so. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/12525 Dynavision, gives dynamic DOF, or static DOF, it can be edited easily in-game. (Via summon NPC thingy) http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/13049 Imaginator, I'd say it's similar to ENB's without the massive loss of FPS ENB's cause. Also, this is more lore and immersion friendly, as it's not all shiny, rainbows and butterflies. Can be changed to couple of presets via in-game configuration. (summon npc and talk to him, similar to the one above)You can change color scheme of skyrim with this, make everything more greenish and so, I recommend reading description. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/13531 Ultra Realistic World Lightning, this is absolute MUST for anyone. (Unless using project reality, but it changes weather as well, so it might not be something you want for first playthrough)Makes dungeons darker, enhances lighting and so. I was amazed myself that it doesn't affect FPS at all. With these combined you get maybe.. 1-4 fps loss? No stutter, no lag. Just pure awesomeness. (at least I didn't get any noticeable FPS loss with these  ) I don't recommend using ENB's, even if someone would point out uberly immersive and realistic one.It still changes the feel of Skyrim.I hope this post helps you on your journey to Skyrim! Beastlyqt
Can i use only one of the 3 Ultra Realistic World Lightning files? There is Dark, Bright and Normal and all have the same file names "SkyrimURWL.esp", cant i change them to maybe SkyrimURWLbright, SkyrimURWLdark and SkyrimURWLnormal? If not, which one should i pick? Deleted1308005User
Mmm.. I'd recommend either dark or normal. It's pretty much on personal preference, I'd say normal might be good for you? If it seems too bright, you can switch to dark.or if it's too dark, you can try the bright version. However, don't use all three at the same time, they will just overwrite each other.I'd recommend "Normal" for first playthrough, as there might be some things you really want to see inside the many dungeons of skyrim, and you would probably miss a lot of those if you use the dark one. (Unless you are ready to carry torch around all the time  )
tyrannynexus
There is also the official High Res DLC if you haven't already gotten that. Automatic Varients http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/21377 This mod lets you use several texture packs to diversify your enemy encounters in the game. It is more complicated to install then the other mods but Gopher has made a great guide on how to install it properly. hope this helps!
