Btw, the creation kit docs description of placeAtMe says specifically that mapmarkers won't work - doesn't quite seem to match the behaviour you've seen, but probably means it won't work for someone at some point so best avoid using it. https://www.creationkit.com/index.php?title=PlaceAtMe_(Papyrus) Your best bet is to have a copy of the mapmarker you need in each worldspace it could appear in, just disabled.
