Help needed with placing a Dynamic MapMarker.

Yes quite right. Btw, the creation kit docs description of placeAtMe says specifically that mapmarkers won't work - doesn't quite seem to match the behaviour you've seen, but probably means it won't work for someone at some point so best avoid using it. https://www.creationkit.com/index.php?title=PlaceAtMe_(Papyrus)

 

Your best bet is to have a copy of the mapmarker you need in each worldspace it could appear in, just disabled. You should be able to move it to the new location an enable/disable it as needed.

Well, I'm not using placeatme, I have a disabled copy of map marker in Riverwood and just move it. Now comes a question I raised in another old thread: can map markers be renamed? https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/3969845-changing-map-marker-names/
