cant connect to nexus

hello,

evidently i made this account a long time ago for som reason but now here i am having to use it again solely to figure out why i cant connect to nexus, last night i was browsing mods for oblivion and i opened up like 9 nexus web pages, immediatly after that the pages failed to connect, my internet is working fine and my firewall appears to NOT be blocking this site. After some searching it seems nexus may have banned me or some other problem I cant figure out. . .like a minute ago i found that an adblocker stops connection so i will try to disable that however i dont think that might help but im try it anyway. . .in the meantime can anybody read this and then provide a few suggestions as to why and then how i am unable to connect to oblivion nexus?

the elder scrolls webpage works i went there an no problems but the links to the great mods go to nexus and surprise surprise i cant connect, been 2 days now so here i am. .

 

1st edit: just allowed firefox to not adblock http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/ but still nothing happens and still cant connect. . .

 

2nd edit: mayhaps a moderator could comment on this thread so i may pm him/her about this? seems thats protocol for these kinds of problems. . .

I'm having the same exact issue. Put in username and password, click login and natta, zip, nothing.

 

Tried same measures as OP, still no connect.

apparently the server is down. . .and will be back up in a week assumingly. . .
