nexus files in appdata

i have two drives c and d. I installed nexus into my smaller ssd c drive and my bigger files into my d drive assuming that nexus will install mod downloads into my d drive when i set it to have it the mod stage folder in D. I saw my ssd space shrinking a ton and i realized that vortex was installing downloads into my c drive appdata for some reason even though i set mod stage folder in D. The files in appdata local are taking up a lot of space. is there a way to move all the files/ move nexus files into my d drive? thank you.

You have to specify your D drive for both Downloads and Staging.

If Vortex is using appdata for downloads, it will move them to the new location when you define it.

Vortex will always keep certain files in AppData - like per game profiles, ini files, and Vortex logs. Feel free to delete the logs.

sorry i meant i installed vortex on my c drive and my game on my d drive. i assumed that by setting the mod staging folder in my d drive would allow vortex to keep all the big files in my d drive. i just realized that vortex was also installing big files on my c drive.

In Settings the tab after Mods is Download. Set it there.
