Stutter Problems

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

I know there are many, many threads on this but non seem to be like my problem.

Specs first:

i5 2320

GTX560

4GB RAM 1333Mhz

WD Green 500GB

Right,

I am running every single performance mod: NV stutter remover, 4GB Mod, Fullscreen and NVSE.

And yet I am still getting stutter, it is really obvious when looking at NPC's running.

Any help? It is getting quite annoying with all these new mods and I am going crazy with stutter.

FPS isn't an issue, but stutter..... grrr....

Please Help!

Thank you for reading.

Here is a link to my troubleshooting blog.

This is updated often so come back later for more.

If you use any of this and have some success - or even if nothing works - please post back here what you did that worked or didn't work. That kind of information can be invaluable to other members having the same or similar problems - And to me in fixing any problems in the blog.

Sorry for the double post.

But I have fixed it, so anyone with problems try this. (May not work for you but it did for me)

All of the videos I watched tells you to turn of the 64Hz selection at the top... well don't.

Next set your max FPS to 60FPS and the minimum to 30FPS

Don't run 4GB enabler as it doesn't work with the full screen mod anymore.

Just run fake full screen and there, you are nice and stutter free.

May not work for you but it work a dream on my game.

(Mods it might be useful to update the title to point them towards the possible fix)

You said when NPCs are running? Do you stutter only around NPCs running or is it just more obvious? If it's around NPCs in general open console and type "temo". I use it everytime I load a game. Might help, might not, worth a try. Even though you didn't mention it, if you are running a d3d9.dll fix you should remove it before trying the temo command.

Edit: I'm not trying to have you type in commands that you might be unfamiliar with so I'll explain. Temo will toggle emotions in npc faces off. Graphically it's not noticeable but it may help in a gunfight.
