Well i downloaded a mod a while later and when i put the files in my Fallout3/Data and launch my game i check data files and there is nothing in there i cant find the files i put in Fallout3/Data if anyone knows how to fix this please help. :(

Is the file an .esp file? These are the only types that will work through the launcher.

They definitely shouldn't just disappear

Just to make sure. They've definitely been placed in your Fallout 3 / Data directory?

You also need to change your ini so that bInvalidateOlderFiles=1. By default it's 0

Make sure you change the correct ini. It's found in MyDocuments/MyGames/Fallout3/
