mousewitacookie
So I recently installed the nexus mod manager, but when ever I try and open it, whether from the start menu or the desktop shortcut, it wont open. It almost acts like my OS isn't compatible. I have XP. I know... "what am I still doing with XP." Anyways, an hourglass will pop up next to my courser, but it will disappear and stop "loading" the mod manager after a few seconds. The steam workshop works for me, but all the best mods seem to be on the nexus, which really bums me out right now. I don't have the greatest knowledge with computers, so I ask that you explain things in detail and that you have patience with me. Thx.
bben46
Sometimes the NMM takes a very long time to start. On an earlier version it took nearly 7 minutes on my system. On the newest version, 18 seconds. But other people who say it started quickly for them on the earlier version are now complaining about how long it takes.
mousewitacookie
OK, so i tried waiting 10 minutes, and still nothing happened. :( I've also tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it, but it does the same thing... which is nothing lol :P. When you say you had an older version, are you talking about the OS or NMM? Anything else you think might be wrong?
mousewitacookie
So, I double clicked the NMM shortcut, and waited over night for it to start. When I woke up it had not started. So I don't think that's the problem.
