it appears to be a male hair style hairs have 2 parts the hair and a hairline the brown part looks like a hairline one of your mods has ether changed the npc's hair( if that ncp is the only one doing it) or has changed that hair style (if more than 1 ncp is doing it) disable 1/2 your mods if it gos away than disable the ones you left on and enable 1/2 of the one that were and keep disable till you find the one doing it you can try to depending on what the mod is doing you can try change the load order update the mod keep it disabled or try fix it your self in the CK.

I've found a very annoying bugg when using multiple "beauty" mods. I can get rid of the red forehead, but in its place is mis-matched head & body color.

:/

It's the upper eye socket, if you set it to *custom or the same color as the npc skin in CK then it will go away. I don't know what mod causes this ether sorry. maybe Apatchi hair for NPC's or somthing. Don't forget to export face gen data when done... Ctrl+F4

SEVERAL NPC's in the game are affected, and even a few "main character" types......Jarls, Housecarls, etc.

:wallbash:

I'll try BOTH suggestions......This is a real immersion killer for me!

Trust me it's "Upper eye socket" , are you familiar with using the CK?

Somewhat, yes.....Using the CK won't break any of my mods, I hope!

Oh, and is the upper eye a global fix, or do I need to do them individually?

I wish i had a better fix for you but this is what I do when I run into an NPC with the forehead thing... I couldn't find the mod that was causing it so I made an mod called "My Skyrim Fixes" in CK and every time I see an NPC with that problem I load it up and click on that npc, then go to "Character Gen Parts" and under textures you will see "Upper Eye Sockets" highlight that then to your right you will see "Face Tinting Color" set the preset to "Color Average or to the same color as the rest of their face.

Then click "OK" highlight that NPC in the object window and hit Ctrl+F4 and wait a few seconds, then hit done when prompted, and save.

This technique MAY work without having an .esp or without saving even, the only reason why I made my .esp is because I run into problems all the time and I just use that to fix them.

Update: Confirmed! This fix works without saving.
